Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Prompt Generator mobile application (“the App”) and related services at promptgenerator.digital (“Services”), operated by us (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

1. The service

Prompt Generator helps you create structured text prompts for third-party AI products. The App includes:

Text → Text — expand a chat idea into a prompt suitable for tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
Text → Image — expand an image-generation idea for tools like Midjourney, DALL·E, or Flux.
Image → Image — upload a reference photo and receive a detailed recreation-style prompt.
Voice input — dictate your idea using on-device speech recognition, then generate from the transcript.
Library — when signed in, save prompts, search, filter, and apply up to ten tags per prompt.

The App sends your content to our servers for processing and may use third-party AI infrastructure (OpenRouter) to produce results. We do not operate ChatGPT, Midjourney, or other external AI services; you use generated prompts with those services under their own terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the App only with permission of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts

You may use generation features without an account, subject to free-tier limits tracked on your device.
Sign-in with Apple (and Google Sign-In where offered) is required to sync Library, track cloud usage limits, and link PRO across sessions.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining access to your sign-in method.
You may delete your account in Settings; see the Privacy Policy for what data is removed.

4. Subscriptions and billing (PRO)

PRO unlocks unlimited prompt generations and unlimited Library saves, as shown in the App at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by Apple via In-App Purchase. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements.

Subscription options (such as month_pro and year_pro) and any free trial are displayed in the App before you confirm purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Price, currency, and trial length are shown by Apple in the purchase sheet.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Use Restore Purchases on the paywall if you reinstall the App or change devices (same Apple ID).
Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies; we cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

Auto-renewal disclosure: Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

5. Free tier and fair use

Non-PRO users may generate up to three (3) prompts before needing PRO, as indicated in the App.
Non-PRO users may save up to twenty (20) prompts in Library.
When signed in, usage may be tracked in your cloud profile; without an account, limits may apply on your device only.
We may adjust limits, rate-limit API access, or suspend use that abuses the Services or circumvents payment systems.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Submit unlawful, harmful, harassing, infringing, or exploitative content.
Upload reference images you do not have the right to use.
Reverse engineer, scrape, probe, or overload our API or attempt to extract model/system prompts at scale.
Bypass authentication, usage limits, or subscription checks.
Use the Services to develop competing models or datasets without our written consent.

7. AI-generated content and third-party tools

Outputs are produced automatically by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your use case. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using generated prompts. You must comply with the terms and policies of any third-party AI service you use. We are not liable for actions taken by external providers or for content their models produce.

8. Intellectual property

The App, branding, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and store that content solely to operate and improve the Services.
Expert system prompts and App design elements are our intellectual property and may not be copied except as allowed by law.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information, including prompt content, Library data, analytics, and subscription status.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT GENERATED PROMPTS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THIRD-PARTY AI TOOLS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Services, users, or our infrastructure.

14. Changes

We may modify these Terms or the Services. We will post updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Material changes apply from the posted date; continued use constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the App and cancel any subscription through Apple.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Prompt Generator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence remain unaffected. Disputes should first be raised with us at help@promptgenerator.digital.

16. Apple

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you also agree that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content; Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support; and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with respect to your use of the App.
